INTERVENTION
Dark Horse Global is an investigative and intervention organization. What does that mean? It means we work in support of, and alongside, global governments and law enforcement agencies to strategically identify victims of human trafficking, as well as the traffickers and perpetrators who buy and sell the vulnerable for pleasure and profit. We build targeted cases with the necessary intelligence to prove human trafficking is taking place, and then work side-by-side with law enforcement to plan and execute a rescue operation resulting in freedom for the victims and arrest for the perpetrators.
How We Do It
We operate in obscurity. We look like anybody else. We blend in. Our teams go into the darkest and toughest places on earth to find those being raped for profit. Utilizing many different forms of covert surveillance technology, we gather evidence, create a case based on the requirements of our police partners, and provide the finished case back to law enforcement. Sometimes we’re able to acquire the actionable evidence needed for our law enforcement partners on a single evening’s operation, and sometimes when we’re building a larger case to include a large network of traffickers, it can take many months, if not longer.
Who We Are
Our investigators are the best of the best. Contrary to popular belief, there is not a need to have served in a special operation forces capacity, nor does one have to have worked in law enforcement, to do the work we do. That said, some of our team members come from those backgrounds but the majority do not. What you must have is the personality, demeanor, and strength of character to step into places where people are being sold and look like you’re supposed to be there. Our investigators look like your average local, a generic tourist, “everyday Joe’s”; people whom you would never give a second glance or thought.
However, while they might appear unassuming, they are highly trained investigators with dozens of combined years of experience in covert investigative operations, human intelligence, surveillance and counter-surveillance, operations planning and execution, and holistic case building. Our team has worked across the world on almost every continent and has led successful operations leading to freedom for over a thousand victims of human trafficking and the arrest of hundreds of traffickers and perpetrators.
Where We Work
The Dark Horse Global team brings experience in working all over the world, alongside our government and law enforcement partners to bring liberty and justice to the oppressed and oppressor, respectively. We identify our regional teams as Dark Horse 1 (DH1), Dark Horse 2 (DH2), etc. As an organization, we strategically launched our global operations in Latin America: DH2. The map below identifies the direction of our strategic growth by region, based on our years in the field and understanding of the transnational criminal networks moving victims around the globe.

DH1 is a team of deployed investigators based in the United States who work with our regional teams. These individuals augment ongoing investigations in locations where westerners fit a unique profile needed to accomplish specific investigative objectives. DH1 is utilized for rapid response operational support, being available to be anywhere we operate within a 24 hour period, and frequently works alongside our regional teams and law enforcement partners in the planning and execution of rescue and arrest operations.
