INTERVENTION
Dark Horse Global is an investigative and intervention organization. What does that mean? It means we work in support of, and alongside, global governments and law enforcement agencies to strategically identify victims of human trafficking, as well as the traffickers and perpetrators who buy and sell the vulnerable for pleasure and profit. We build targeted cases with the necessary intelligence to prove human trafficking is taking place, and then work side-by-side with law enforcement to plan and execute a rescue operation resulting in freedom for the victims and arrest for the perpetrators.
How We Do It
We operate in obscurity. We look like anybody else. We blend in. Our teams go into the darkest and toughest places on earth to find those being raped for profit. Utilizing many different forms of covert surveillance technology, we gather evidence, create a case based on the requirements of our police partners, and provide the finished case back to law enforcement. Sometimes we’re able to acquire the actionable evidence needed for our law enforcement partners on a single evening’s operation, and sometimes when we’re building a larger case to include a large network of traffickers, it can take many months, if not longer.
Who We Are
Our investigators are the best of the best. Contrary to popular belief, there is not a need to have served in a special operation forces capacity, nor does one have to have worked in law enforcement, to do the work we do. That said, some of our team members come from those backgrounds but the majority do not. What you must have is the personality, demeanor, and strength of character to step into places where people are being sold and look like you’re supposed to be there. Our investigators look like your average local, a generic tourist, “everyday Joe’s”; people whom you would never give a second glance or thought.
However, while they might appear unassuming, they are highly trained investigators with dozens of combined years of experience in covert investigative operations, human intelligence, surveillance and counter-surveillance, operations planning and execution, and holistic case building. Our team has worked across the world on almost every continent and has led successful operations leading to freedom for over a thousand victims of human trafficking and the arrest of hundreds of traffickers and perpetrators.
